It would be Wed. January 7th. The 9th is a Friday. I only know this because my wedding day is the 10th and its a Saturday. Holy cow its coming up fast!

Way to go Lisa! That is awesome!

 

I did take before and after pics for myself and really see no difference. I am bummed about that. I also took my measurements and did see a small improvement in them (all went down - 1.75" waist, .75" hips, and 1" thighs). The weight is really hard to come off though....I am lucky to average a pound a week. I am regular with my exercise so probably need to look again at what I am eating. Does anyone know of a good resource to determine how many calories you should eat a day? I have stumbled upon so many different calculations.

 

I would probably be in for another round. You ladies are very motivating and should all be proud of yourselves. 12 weeks would be fine and I think starting in January is a good idea. Hope everyone has a good weigh-in tomorrow.

I just sent in my final weigh in. Sorry I've been MIA from posting recently. I just started a new job (coaching girls basketball - and I've been practicing with the girls so that has really helped in addition to my workouts) and we just moved, so I've been really busy. Morgan, your before and afters look great! I wish I could show mine, but I've still got a lot to lose, so I'm not ready yet. But I think I did pretty well this go-round. Mother nature brought me a gift last week, but I avoided some strong cravings and came out pretty well this week. Good luck to all of you girls!

 

I can't wait till BL5!

i'm so excited that we seem in agreement that 12 weeks will be better ... i think it's perfect (not too short, not too long)!

 

overall, i did slightly better than in BL3 ... in this round, i lost a total of 11.5 lbs. (some of it was re-losing weight i had gained back in between contests!). unfortunately, with the arrival of my period THIS MORNING (of course, on the day of the final weigh-in ... can't catch a break, LOL!) also came the arrival of another small weight gain (two weeks in a row ... sigh).

 

hopefully the next round won't perfectly coincide with my cycle, LMAO!

we were at the american museum of natural history in NYC this weekend, and they had this nifty "your weight on the moon" scale ... i was tempted to send ann this pic as my final weigh-in, but i didn't think she'd buy that i lost over 200 lbs in one week! hehe ...

 

hmmm ... destination wedding on the moon?

Lisa - the moon weight cracked me up.

 

All said and done, I lost 6 pounds. I guess not too bad. Starting to keep better track of what I am eating so we will see what happens. Thanks for all the motivation and support ladies!

    • Hi Everyone, So, I was cleaning out my closet and realized that I never sold off my extra wedding OOT bag stuff from our wonderful DW.   46 Daily Spanish for Dummies 30 Pool colored OOT fabric bags - approximately 13in x 13in. They lay flat.  I used them for our wedding and they were perfect for everything we needed to fit in each bag. There’s a slight shade variation in the group; I’m guessing some were cut from a different bolt of fabric.  They are also a little wrinkled from storage and will probably be wrinkled from shipping. I have three additional ones, but they somehow got something on them (likely toddler related). If needed, I can try to wash it out and send those as well. 
    • I’m getting married in six months to my foreign girlfriend. I was advised by a friend that one of the things I need to do before saying I do is to get a prenuptial agreement. Basically it’s supposed to protect my assets and properties in case my relationship with my future wife goes down the drain. I don’t know though if this is an acceptable practice when marrying Kiev ladies. I don’t want to do it if it would be insulting on her end. I need advice on this. Please help me.
    • So we are currently looking for an all inclusive resort for the wedding. We have 60 guests and found all the Dreams resorts as options and all of them gave us a quote and discounted price since it’s off season etc. Resorts in Punta Canta gave us a reasonable price, Dominicus gave us a really good deal then La Romana Resort and Spa gave us their regular price and so hard to negotiate. Will someone tell us how special is this resort that they won’t give us a good discount when all my guests are staying in their resort for 5-8 days. We are bringing $$$ in their resort and not give us a discount?  What is so special with this resort?  Can somebody recommend a beautiful resort?
