But woke up today and I think I'm good to go so I'll probably try the elliptical and weights tonight.
wow that's a lot of exercise, even with a back injury in the middle! you get points just for persistence! the walking probably helped your back. glad you're feeling better.

i'm no expert on the subject by any means, but aren't you supposed to leave a rest day or two in between so your muscles can recoup? i thought it was bad to go *every* day ... or was that just me rationalizing again? LMAO!

Hey Ladies,

I haven't updated much, but last week and this week have been the two worst weeks of work and school so far! Early mornings and even later nights means crappy eating habits. I've been pretty sedentary this week, BUT I'm I'm planing a few quick sprints up and down the building tonight. So wish me luck and good luck to us all! cheesy.gif

I feel like I could drink a pool full of water and still want more. My skin is dry and I am even waking up in the middle of the night because I'm soooo freakin thirsty. On top of that I AM HUNGRY. I want to eat everything and anything I can think of. I'm contemplating going to the grocery store and eating all of their Halloween candy.
Kelly it sounds like it may be the wrong pill for you. Is it the same one that you were one before? I had to switcharoo a few times before finding the right one when I started years ago.

This made me laugh. I love the fatty animals but I can't commit to one in my sig. :)

I don't know if the scale is going to show anything for me this week ladies. Not only is it that time of month and FI had a bag of doritos calling my name last night- but I am also sick. blah.. I did work out several times but I need to go REALLY hard to see a difference in my body. I was talking to my trainer yesterday and he basically told me that i need to work out even harder because i have a "unique" body type. That is so annoying. What the hell happened to less calories in- more calories expended- and all that noise? Now I need to keep my heart rate at almost peak because I am well cionditioned to lose a friggin pound??!! I almost started crying when we were talking yesterday and seriously had to hold back. I am super emotional these days of the month especially and I would feel like a total idiot if I started crying in front of him. Well since I didn't go work out this morning sad.gif I will just go and weigh in at the gym.
good luck everyone. It sounds like we are all struggling but staying strong! Thanks for hearing my little rant.smile105.gif

Thanks, actually maybe if you are first starting out and your muscles get really sore after exercising you should take a break. But they say at least 30 min of exercise a day is recommended. Now if I lift weights, I do it every few days or different muscle groups because I'm usually sore after that. But I've been going enough that I don't get sore just from elliptical or treadmill anymore. I think walking may have even helped loosen my back muscles..who knows.
But last night I tanned after the gym for the first time to try to get myself a base tan before Mexico and my ass if fried!!! it hurts to sit today. I told the girl I hadn't been in a long time. I guess by looking at me in my workout clothes though she couldn't see how white my ass and stomach are..haha Well they aren't so white anymore. I feel like I have a heated seat at work today :)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
