this morning i did my weekly 3 mile walk with a friend & her dog. i was so worn out by the end. normally i have more energy when i'm done, but this time i was really dragging. i'm not sure if it's because i worked out so much yesterday. i came home & had to take a nap.

then i went out a few hours ago to do some photography around campus. i walked for about an hour taking pictures.

i just finished a big bowl of my favorite snack- fat free plain yogurt with a bannana & granola on top. i bought this granola cereal because it was a lot cheaper than regular granola.

i've been eating yogurt & bananas since we got back from mexico. i had it every morning on the buffet.

i also made a run to trader joes to stock up on healthy food.

I can't convince a single person to workout with me. I have a friend who always says she will and then I wait for her and she ALWAYS cancels on me. That really pisses me off because I could've gone earlier in the day and I waited and then don't even feel like going. My FI needs to workout, but he's lazy and really I don't feel like pulling his teeth to make him do it. Its hard enough to keep myself motivated. Honestly, the looming weigh in is really starting to motivate me. For some reason having to send a picture to Ann of a scale that has gone up or stayed the same really bothers me, like I failed or something. So, I want to lose, lose lose! I wish I could do tapes at home, but I am the least coordinated person I know and they just end up frustrating me.

Yamille~ I've been wondering where you were hiding! :) Taco salad is soooo good!
i'm really sorry to hear you can't find a workout partner. I agree it is so annoying when you wait on someone & they cancel on you. i used to run into that all the time, so i started working out alone. thankfully, i have dependable friends here so i workout with friends now.

So I have not made it to the gym all week and I feel it I am so sleepy. I am going back tomorrow no matter what.

KLC77 I was always looking for someone to work out with then I worked out with a friend and to be honest it can be good and can be bad, it is good bc the days you dont wan to work out hopefully they will motivate you to go, but on days they are late or not in the mood or do not have the same goal as you they may hold you back. I now find it much easier and I work a lot harder when I do it myself. Do you want to workout with someone to get you to workout each day, if so use this forum to help. I log into this one and the one have you exercised today and I feel so much better when I can type something I did. Since I have not worked out in a couple of days it has been driving me nuts to read them and no log anything.

We went out of town for a 50th Wedding Anniversary on my FI side and I ate way to much. But the party was fun, even though it was mostly people over 70... we ate, we drank, we danced and we sang. Most of the older folks knew that we are getting married soon and they all were so excited for us.

I did manage to go Kickboxing on Friday and a nice long run on Sunday so I managed to lost a bit of weight. I hope to lose a little more before Wednesday's weigh in. I'm going to have to be VERY good for the next couple of days!

ladies, i went ahead and set the camera timer and took some before pics ... let me tell you, i am HORRIFIED by what i look like from behind. (reminds me of that movie ... is it "death becomes her" where her head is on backwards and she says "why didn't anyone tell me my ass was this big?! LOL) the front view wasn't much better, but i guess i've come to terms with that because i see it in the mirror all the time? i think i've had a really warped view of exactly how heavy i am. i mean i know what the scale says isn't pretty, nor is it even close to healthy (can't believe i'm telling you all, but BL4 start weight = 240.7), but that picture of my back, ass, and thighs is hideous. that's NOW, and frighteningly enough, NOT the heaviest i've ever been (this time last year i was about 15 pounds heavier).

so i guess this is to say that there's no way those pics will see the light of day, unless i lose about 80 pounds and want to show off the difference (maybe by the end of biggest loser 2983523469? LOL).

i should print it and put it on the fridge tho.

a happier note, today, i did squeeze all that into a pair of old navy jeans i haven't been able to fit for awhile. so yay for being on the road to recovery!

Ok ladies, we have a late entry to the competition! Christy335 just joined the forum and really wants to join BDW Biggest Loser 4 ... I told her she can, I hope that's ok!

Basically she will send me her weight on Wed. and I will use that as her starting weight, and this week's weight. It will look like a 0% loss this week. Then she will be in line with everyone else. And she'll then really have 1 less week to lose her weight ... so she has to work extra hard! lol

Welcome, Christy!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
