I had a great weight loss weekend! I did turbo jam on friday night, P-90X leg DVD on saturday, ran a fitness trail sunday morning & did turbo jam again sunday night. the fitness trail is a trail with stations to do various physical things. Like one you bunny hop over logs. there is a sit up station, pull ups, etc.

I am also testing out healthy recipes for thanksgiving. so i ate tons of veggies this weekend. I am trying recipies that are mixes of veggies & fruit.

I'm 5 pounds from my goal weight as of this morning!

thanks ladies. this has been the most motivated i've ever been to eat healthy & workout.

the great thing is that I feel better, I'm eating delicious food, & i have lots of energy. once i get over the first couple weeks of pain, being healthier feels so much better.

I worked out reguarly before & ate pretty good, but I'm doing so much more now. I've also been avoiding really indulging. before I'd be fairly healthy thoughout the week, but have at least one event every 1-2 weeks where I ate too much.

I litterally just realized that I totally missed last weeks' weight in! smile35.gif

So, so, sorry Ann!!!

It's just been crazy busy at work; I've been getting home at 8pm at the earliest all week! I may just have to forefit since I have not had time to go to the gym at all and this weekend was just really really bad, food-wise! We went out for Italian on Fri b/c it was last minute and I was starving and I had pasta at 8pm! smile105.gif On Sat, we had our 1st anniversary family dinner and I overate; naturally since my mom and I cooked up a storm!

It has been so difficult to find the motivation to get into the gym considering that I am rushing home to let the dog out every night and am exhausted and dont want to do anything once I do get home! I was really looking forward to BDBL to get me motivated but it doesn't seem to be working! sad.gif

If anyone has any suggestions on how you got your butt in gear, I will greatly appreciate it. Hopefully, I wont forget to send my weight in this Wed and wont be automatically be discualified S&M.gif

Awesome job Morgan! You've motivated me. I'm heading to the gym in the morning. I also just bought p90x off ebay. FI and I watched the infomercial last weekend and both thought it looked really good while we were laying in bed being bums. lol I'm 3.5 pounds from my goal weight. Doesn't it feel awesome!elefant.gif

awesome! 3.5...you are so close!!!

p90x is great. there are certain videos I don't do, but I love the ones I do use. There are more pushups & pullups than I want. I don't follow the program. I just use the videos for a great workout.

tonight mike & i did cardio X. I do the legs video & arms video almost every week.

My other love is turbo jam

I'm starting to look for a boudoir photographer in my area. If i get to my goal weight, i want to take some pictures. It's such a motivation. As I was doing cardio-X tonight I kept thinking about how great it would be to have my old abs back for the pics.

You and I think alike! I just emailed a photog in my area last night about boudoir pics. I want to do them for FI's bday in February. I'm a little nervous about the dvds. In general, I'm not that coordinated and get frustrated because I have a hard time following along with cardio videos. lol So, I'm hoping that because some of them are weight training I'll be ok.

p90x is easy to follow. the cardio isn't complicated. and following weights is easy too. it's much easier to pick up than something like turbo jam.

i p90x while I watch tv. it doesn't take a lot of thought.

I'm thinking about doing the bd pics in the spring. i want to take outdoor pictures. plus by then i'll have a little bit of a tan. i planned on doing them for an anniversay gift, but I'd give them to him as soon as i got them back, i'm sure. i don't like waiting.

I was having trouble finidng people in my area. i finally thought to go to my local knot board. i got some great suggestions & the girls have been really helpful.

Well tomorrow I think I will have a gain not a loss. I have been sick for the past few days and when I am sick all I want to do is eat, I have to eat like every hour, its crazy. I guess since I can't sleep because I have a 3 month old my body needs to get its energy somewhere, so its food. And I crave carbs, I can't want fruit or salad, its bread and pasta, its bad. Anyway, just wanted to let you all know that tomorrow will be bad for me. And, I think I am too sick to go to bootcamp tonight, the first class, so that is a really bad thing. I hope I am better by Thursday's class.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
