Kat - Those pictures are so pretty! Looks like you guys were having lots of FUN! I am absolutely sold on the idea of having a TTD photo session. My future sister in law is doing some of our photography. She has a small business she just started so we thought it would be a great opportunity for her as well as giving us a break on paying big bucks for a photographer.

Jacqueline - the Heidi Montag reference cracked me up!! We watched that video online and still make fun of her with that wing move she did over a thousand times!! Hilarious!!! Thanks for the laugh!!

I'm glad you are sold on it. It really is fun and a great way to have passionate, beautiful pictures of the two of you. If your FI is anything like my Husband it is hard enough to get pictures done of the two of us. So, I take any chance I get.

I can't WAIT to do my TTD session ... I think I am looking forward to that more than the actual wedding photos (shhh).

But, God forbid I brnig up the subject to my Mum ... she FLIPS when I mention TTD photos ... I think she has it in her head that I'm lighting the dress on fire and ripping it to shreds (even tho I've shown her multiple pictures of what a TTD session actually looks like). *sigh* So I've dropped the subject now because I can't stand how stressed out she looks ......

Not to mention she wants me to wear my dress again at the AHR ...........................................don't even get me started on that smile105.gif

And Kat, you looked absolutely GORGEOUS and the TTD pictures are incredible.

I haven't told my mom yet that I'm doing it and I'm not sure how she is going to react - she is buying my dress for me!

I actually haven't told my FI that we are doing it yet either!! LOL

I guess we're all different and she might surprise you. I tried to get my daughter to do a TTD, even found a photographer to do something around Toronto but she didn't want to do it! I let her know that I wasn't bothered if the dress got wrecked (I paid for it) so now it's sitting in a closet at my house :)

Thanks! Actually, my wedding dress was so dirty I don't know if the cleaners will get it clean and my TTD dress is so clean I didn't need to take it to the cleaners. So, I highly doubt Trashing the dress is going to ruin it!! If anything it will make it cleaner. In fact a lot of people call it Wash The Dress. I'll have to post pictures of how dirty the bottom of my wedding dress is!! It's horrible. I almost wish I would have used it for the TTD.

I hope this link works....I bought my trash the dress the other day. I only spent $200 and I think the quality will be good b/c it's Ralph Lauren. What do ya'll think? And I haven't even bought my actual dress yet....but there is a cute casablanca dress that's short and sassy that I've been looking at and also a maggie sottero dress, short and sassy as well. Anyway, let me know what you think?

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
