Wine themed beachy centerpiece

Recommended Posts

I finally figured out a way to combine my love of wine /champagne and the beach in my centerpieces for my crabcrack/AHR. I bought the raffia bows from Micheals and I still have to get starfish and sand dollars from oriental trading to mix in with the corks. I harrased the local wineries to give me their used corks. The hurricane vases are from Pier One when they had the 12 dollar sale last year. I will be having my crabcrack at a park that overlooks the water on the Northshore of Long Island where there are alot of wineries. Ok, so the truth is, I just want another excuse to drink plenty o wine during the party.shots.gif

I still have to add the super affordable starfish and sanddollars that oriental trading sells to create the beach feeling. But nothing will over power the WINE heehehehe jiggy.gif

Oh yeah, duh! I read that too fast. I love wine!!! I originally wanted to get married at a vineyard here in So Cal, but tooo expensive. For the same price, we get to party in Cabo for a week.

Great Idea..

Very creative!
I love your idea of using the darker bottle. The darker bottle is actually cheaper to buy at $10 a pop and I just re looked at the picture and the label matches the corks. I kinda just threw the left over bottle of wine that I had in the fridge to get a visual, but Eurkea I think that will work...plus it is one of my favorite wines .hehhehe

If my FMIL starts stressing me out during the party I will always have a reserve on the tables to turn too...smile41.gif

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
