RIU Montego Bay Wedding Confirmation

I was reading some of the threads and saw that some people said the hotel contacted them to confirm the wedding date and time. Was that one month prior to the wedding? My wedding is not until July '09 but the only confirmation I have is from when we originally booked the date. is that all I am supposed to have right now?

Do you have the booking confirmation voucher? (was sent to me by e-mail). If so then you should have all you need for now. About week after the resort opened I e-mailed Keneika to make sure she had my confirmation info. She did and everything was fine. If it puts your mind at ease, you could shoot her a quick e-mail as well.

As long as you have your number that was emailed to you that confirms the date and time and you get your confirmation voucher you should be fine. I know they got us to use the # to fill stuff out online after our wedding was confirmed too. If you're still unsure if you're actually confirmed you could just contact Keneika again to make sure. I'll probably to that myself now that I read the prior post.

That confirmation should be fine. I too, had only my email confirmation and was told by Keneika that they did not have the info the week the hotel opened, but they should have everything by now. Shoot her an email with your confirmation information and I am sure she will confirm for you. BEst of Wishes

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
