I have forehead wrinkles!!!

jajajaja

Recommended Posts

Ok girls- I don't know if this is me realizing that my 28th bday is around the bend, but I've got stinking forehead wrinkles popping up like no one's business. It's like- I look in the mirror and I see the freakin Grand Caynon running along my forehead. So it has been leaving me with considering botox- which I don't really want to do or cut some damn bangs to hide it.

I like this but I know bangs like this are a big commitment. Hell- I had huge bangs like this all through the 90's and finally grew them out in college. I'm just worried that I will look like I'm 12. But 12 is better than a Grand Canyon forehead right? LOL

So should I do it? Or should I just find some wrinkle cream and get over it?

I remember the day I found a wrinkle in my forehead. I ran to the nearest CVS and cleared out their wrinkle cream aisle. Damn thing is still there, taunting me. Everyone else claims they can't see it and I'm "crazy", but it's as clear a day to me.

Looking at your avatar pic, you almost have Katie's haircut sans the bangs. IDK. Bangs are a personal choice. I personally can't pull off anything but sideswept bangs, but I think you would look cute.

haha so here's advice coming from someone who has experienced these things-

1- botox- i suggest not to do it. and IF u do pls do it sparingly so u can still have movement in your forehead, lol. when i tried it, it was ok but i literally couldnt make facial expressions and it made me more self conscious than the wrinkles did.

2- bangs- i recently cut mine and though i think it's absolutley stylish, and i love that pic u posted, id suggest to think it over before you chop. if u are up for high maintenance- go for it. they grow fast and mine are already pissing me off. i have to dry them str8 every morning b/c they are all messed up from sleeping. also, if i decide one day to be lazy, i have to pin them back and than i look like a real idiot and more attn is drawn to me.

i am telling you, once i hit 28ish i noticed my skin changed SO much. i wish i would have listened to my parents when they said to not put baby oil on me and to protect my skin. im going to brain wash my kids and make them use it like lotion every day!

At least I'm not alone on my freakouts. But I know others can see it- I've pointed it out and they have been like "oh ya- there is one."

haha yes- it's Friday. I figured it's ok to be crazy and random.
In all serious sorts now, I know exactly what you mean in less than a month I'm turning 29.. DAMN things are popping up all over the place. I'm going to have wrinkles on my wedding day.. BLAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The way I see it- you shouldn't get married if you don't have wrinkles or cellulite. That way when they start popping up, you don't have to worry about how your hubby will accept it. I know my man loves my crater butt and my canyon forehead. LOL Not to mention, my crow's feet but I accept those.

haha leave it to you Maura to not be waivering in thought. I know-I probably should turn and walk away from the mirror when I see the wrinkles, but I think at sometime I'm going to have to go to bangs. Maybe I will wait to 38.

You won't look like an old hag!! You have a pro photog- they should know how to take pics in the right FLATTERING angles. No worries- I didn't even see the canyon in any of my pics.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
