International Food & Wine Festival at Epcot (WDW)

Anyone ever been to this? If so, do you have any advice? I'm trying to plan our first anniversary trip and was considering this. I mean after all, who doesn't like food, beer and wine?!

Are the crowds really bad and is epcot worth the whole day to spend exploring? Or should we mix it up with another theme park?

OMG I LOVE EPCOT!! That is my favorite park! FI and I went last year right before the festival started! A co-worker of mine goes every year for the festival and loves it! I like to go during the week when I go so there are less crowds!

We also went to Magic Kingdom to ride the rides but I could easily spend the day walking around Epcot! When I have gone we always eat in Italy and this time we went to Germany and had the buffet and LOTS of beer and it was AWESOME!! Ok, now I am calling my FI to see if we can go again :) cheer2.gif

Cool thank you for sharing your thoughts. I've never been to Epcot, my only worry is if it's like a museum I wouldn't enjoy it. It's still a theme park right? SO it's not a problem to use a whole day to tour epcot? You or your Dh didn't get bored? Actually I'm more worried about him finding it boring than me. he's more of a thrill type seeker but if I load him up with beer who knows cheesy.gif

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
