This place will definitely make you feel better!!
I just love having other people's opinion's instead of my FI's very distracted, uninterested "yup...looks fine"!! I have my friends opinions too...which I love!...but it's not the same as getting an opinion from a bride-to-be who is just as excited as you about getting married!!
There are two downfalls to this site however - #1. you will become completely addicted and you will never get any work (or housework) done! & #2. you run the risk of going over budget because you come across soooo many great ideas!!

Welcome around!

 

What we're doing is having our wedding at the Iberostar Paraiso Beach in Mexico and my mom has graciously offered to throw us a backyard BBQ sometime this summer for everyone who couldn't make it to the wedding in February. I think this will work out well.

You will find loads of great resort ideas here on the forum

 

I would suggest you read some of the wedding reviews to help you make up your mind, I would also have a AHR when you get back for those who couldn't make it.... may be play a slideshow of the wedding

That is exactly what we're doing! We are both flying to Newfoundland next summer (along with some of our friends from Ontario) to have an AHR (aka backyard BBQ!)!! I think I'm almost as excited about this as I am the actually wedding!!

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
