DREAMS PUERTO VALLARTA "thread"

Recommended Posts

Dreams supplied the scarves on the bamboo poles. They didn't charge extra because we were already suppose to get some gazebo decorations with the Ultimate package (we couldn't fit in the gazebo). I am happy to say there were no surprises when the final bill came- that was a relief.

Our wedding was at 5:15 and we had about 30 minutes to take pictures while the sun was setting- the photographer (who was fantastic at a great cost- Eva Sica) got the most amazing shots of the sunset.

I can't think of much that I would have changed; it really was better than I had hoped for. I hope Jaimie's experience was just as good. I can't wait to hear.

Dreams Villamagna Nuevo Vallarta (our honeymoon location) was a nice resort but the food was not nearly as good as Dreams PV and the beach was not very good at all.

Here is a YouTube video that one of our guests posted showing the end or our reception (before the pool plunge). YouTube - Braun Wedding - God Bless the USA

Aut I haven't started to pack yet - oops! All my stuff is in one room just all over the place! Karen, we are taking two big suitcases and one small one - I hope at least! These are what we are checking.

And yes we have 12 mani/pedis at Toya's on Friday! So I'll let you know how they go.

Jill and Aut, can't wait to see your planning threads. Jill, hope I see you on the 29th! We have our TTD but I'm sure we'll get dinner after - then we are off to Casa Velas, the honeymoon hotel on the 30th in the AM

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
