DREAMS PUERTO VALLARTA "thread"

Recommended Posts

Yea for being so close Kimber and Jamie!

We should update the Dreams PV dates thread since so many of us are approaching the big plunge.

Jamie ~ (I mean Martha) Cute idea using luggage tags as place cards :)

Have you girls seen all of the DIY stuff that Jamie has done?!?! Her guests are going to have so much to talk about. I think she should leave all the leftovers at Dreams for the rest of us wink.gif JK

Jill ~ Go with something like Jess recommended. I think little cards with stick chickens or cows would be cute, but you could even just do numbers or colored dots.

I'm not doing placecards as I didn't give my guests the option on food...bwhahahaha I suck. The only exception I have is a vegan and the girl eats nothing anyways, Dreams doesn't really have vegetarian options (the vegetarian menu they sent me was fish and chicken), so I'm just going to have her pick her food when we get there.

Also, my TA just told me that they are working on a new video of Dreams PV. They go and film a bunch of resorts and post the videos on their website. I'll let y'all know when she has it finished.

Thanks Autjo! We're getting excited, but I must say all this DIY is making me a little stressed these last few days!

I am bringing down a bunch of glass votive candle holders I plan on leaving if anyone wants them - around 40. I can ask Rebeca to hold them.

Someone a while back, maybe Lauren?, said they didn't really follow her little signs anyway, so I wouldn't worry too much. So Jill maybe you could just tell them how many of each dish at each table, and they could just ask once they bring the plates?

I think it's okay you didn't give options Autjo! It's an AI - it they don't like it or are still hungry they can just order room service!

Jamie, I might end up using your votives too if they are still there! That's awesome!

I'm bringing some I picked up from Michaels (but only about 10 of them) so if I add some of yours that would be awesome!

Jamie, I also know what you mean. Between my job (I travel a lot!), and the wedding, and Thanksgiving holiday, I just figured out that I have about two and half weeks to complete everything! I sat my mom and FMIL down and basically had to give them lists of what we need to work on. I'm getting so excited for everyong!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
