I'm hoping to fall just as much in love with Dreams PV when I get there - and I am sure I will!

Plus, I like PV better than Cabo...Cabo is more of a desert, PV is more green and lush
thanks thanks a bunch!!!!smile03.gifsmile03.gif

I'm sure some of you know this already, but I was glad to get it cleared up.

I thinking to set the rehearsal dinner for either early or late to get on either end of the "dinner" crowd. My group is really low key.
Anyone know as far as best times to eat at the restaurants? busiest times? etc?
I'd suggest earlier. When I was there in January, there was definitely more tables available if you went prior to the dinner rush.

Dreams is beautiful! Enjoy!

Hi ladies!

We were thinking of doing a welcome "party" our first night there and are thinking of just having everyone meet at one of the bars. Any suggestions on what would best?

What type of room is everyone staying in? I've heard that it's worth the extra $$ to upgrade to the Jr. Suite. Has anyone seen the Jr. Suite - is the jacuzzi nice? Also interested in the Dreams Suite, but I saw a picture of the "private pool" and it looked like the size of a hut tub...any advice? Has anyone seen the presidential suite?? Looks AMAZING!!

Random note about the quality of the sound if you borrow a sound system & are using an ipod....There is a feature on your ipod that equalizes all the songs on your ipod, so that you don't have high and low volumes when playing music.....

I would love to have a DJ however but my budget may not permit!!!! : (

WHAT!? That's awesome! Very good to know, even just for day to day. ONe of my pet peeves is having to adjust the volume mid workout. Blech!

Yes, and you can also change the amount of time between songs so that it plays without music stopping (assuming your song recording doesn't include silence at the end of the track).

You might want to test your playlist out first because the sound equalizer works better sometimes than others so you might still end up with a track or two that is off on the sound volume.

i think i mentioned that rendezvous was the best bar to meet...maybe in another thread?

we stayed in a jr. suite w/ jacuzzi. the jacuzzi was SO not worth it - just a bathtub. good think we were upgraded by our ta, otherwise i'd be annoyed at spending the $. i'd try to stay in a jr. suite, but know that it's not much different from a deluxe (regular) room. definitely spend the $ to get in the club tower.

Our tour provider is giving us $1500 for every 25 people we book, so we're hoping to use that to upgrade. I'm (STILL) waiting to hear back from our TA about the prices for the suites with jacuzzis vs. no jacuzzi and also on the Dreams Suite and Presidential Suite...but I'm also hoping we might be able to upgrade when we get to the resort for a better price if there are rooms available...

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
