DREAMS PUERTO VALLARTA "thread"

Recommended Posts

About a week or so in advance I spoke with her over the phone, she generally does skype though. We went over the entire questionnaire and I sent her a diagram of the reception layout so she knew where to set-up etc on the day of. I'm sure she will be good for you guys as long as the speakers are fixed. Enjoy your last couple weeks of planning!!

jeigh02...i emailed Fatima to reserve seating for us on march 23 i think last week and she said she would take care of it...we would have been about 3-4 weeks out at that point.

Thank you! I emailed them and they said they had it confirmed. I'll follow up with them since the dinner isn't until June!

Do any of you know how much the Romantic Dinner on the beach is? We are thinking of getting our parents that as a gift and a way to say thank you!

Hey everyone...our wedding is coming up in 9 days and last night I heard about the hold up of the Carvival cruise ship passangers where they robbed everyone on a bus in town on the way to an excursion...I was just wondering if anyone who had been there had run into any issues going into town or on any excursions?  My fiance and I were there 2 years ago, went into town many times, had no issues and loved it!  But now, some of our guests are getting nervous.  We were planning on doing a night out in town before the wedding as well as a zip lining excursion for everyone.  Any info or feedback would be helpful...thanks!

Hi danasb788-

That actually happened while we were out there. No worries, just tell your guests to be careful! Hello! It's another country! We're from LA and I wouldn't go to Compton flashing a Louis Vuitton bag, so don't do that in Mexico! The bottom line is those things can happen anywhere, take precautions and you'll be safe.

FYI- me and my husband left the resort twice- once for dolphin swim and once for zip linig too. We left our rings in the safe and brought minimal cash. All was fine! It was a blast!!! you'll be ok!

On another note I posted my planning thread! (Still working on the review!) Here's the link!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
