cborsa ~ Take a deep breath sweetie. My guess is they are focusing on all of the weddings that are happening right now (this is the start of their wedding season). There are several BDW Desties getting married at Dreams this month and I'm sure they will come back with great advice and insight on the new WC. Try the emails that I posted earlier in the thread. And if you are still worried, you can try talking to the resort on twitter or facebook or even calling them.

I sent a twitter note to Dreams and they confirmed that you should use the groups.drepv@dreamsresorts.com and the weddings.drepv@dreamsresorts.com. I know this has been said before, but make sure to print out every communication you have had with the resort. I needed it even when Rebeca was there. I know it may feel OCD, but it is better to be prepared :)

Have wonderful weddings simplnsweet and JenDen!!!

I received an email from Samantha who said that her and another person are handling the weddings until a new WC is found. She said that they are working on the weddings by month and just started the December weddings last week so don't worry...they'll get to your inquires...I'm still waiting on answers for my wedding early Jan. It'll be fine.

Cborsa -

"Just Breathe"!  I know it can be very stressful when you don't get any replies from the coordinators. But, my wedding is this coming Monday and I have not heard back from Tania in a week!!  Honestly, I was a little stressed but I figure it will all run smoothly.....I just don't want to stress out about the small stuff!  Hang in there!!!  Oh, I am using the photographer that Dreams uses with their wedding packages, so I will let you know how it goes when I return!!! Don't hesitate to ask any other questions of me!! I know how stressful planning things over email can be :)

I LEAVE FRIDAY MORNING!!  Yippee!!!!

Everything will work out fine. We just came back from Dreams PV last week and our wedding turned out perfect. I was a bit worried also because Rebeca was still the WC at that time and she also was slow at responding. I met up with her the day before and went over everything and was able to finalize the small details. She was really nice, I'm sad to hear she left. The wedding office is right down the hall from the resort lobby and I was able to just pop in. Also with the help of some of the girls on this thread I was able to get the info I needed regarding to the menu which was great.

I would definitely recommend the photographer from the resort. We worked with a gentleman by the name of Eder and he was great.

I would also recommend the Mexican Trio. My parents added them to our wedding package as a wedding gift and I'm so glad they did. It just added a little touch plus they were really good.

Believe me I was totally stressed before leaving not knowing anything or getting any responses, but at the end it was the perfect wedding.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
