Welcome Tyler! There are a ton of fabulous photogs on this site. I believe there is even a thread for local PV vendors if you do a search. We used Nathan Cordova (licensetostill.com) and he does a lot of shoots for people on the forum. I know he is actually shooting a members wedding in Playa del Carmen this weekend. Picking a photog was a really hard decision in our planning. Good luck :)

Fer Juaristi!!! Picking a photographer was really hard, but choosing Fer was the best decision we made about our entire wedding. I cannot say enough wonderful things about him. He is beyond talented & is one of the most genuine, enthusiastic, passionate & nice people I've ever met. Plus he works is ass off & will literally do anything to get a shot!

hi tyler-
there are some great photographers on this website - use the search function to see all of the threads devoted to different photogs. i used rick collins, who flew in from vancouver. he's quite familiar with the area, and has since done my brother-in-laws wedding, and the opening ceremonies for the olympics in vancouver. check out my pics in the thread in my siggy. good luck!

ETA: for some reason my slideshow isn't working unless you continue to click launch in this window over and over...may have something to do with the fact that it's 2 1/2 years old.....but you can also check out his website. just google him.

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!

      Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
