DREAMS PUERTO VALLARTA "thread"

Recommended Posts

Hey girls I've got 2 PV travel guides that I posted for sale. I thought I would also throw in a maraca that was purchased on the malecon so you can get an idea of what they look like if you were thinking about getting some for your wedding. PM if you are interested.

Great ladies. I am glad that someone else is going to be using the resort photog. Rebeca also sent me a link from adventure photos. We also like their work. I will let you know what else I find out. I just now sent back my reservation form for my date so I finally was able to book.. So exciting!

Thanks for posting that Allyson!

How's all the planning coming along?

I've been working on some projects. Here's what I have so far.

Table #'s & place cards: the table #'s are hacienda house #'s and place cards are talavera tiles. I painted the backs with a terracotta color & am writing names/table # on them.

Getting ready to send our pre-travel packages out to guests. I couldn't find enough of the larger luggage tags from Michael's so I shopped around & found the ones with the dots at Marshall's. All of our family will get the larger ones and everyone else will get the smaller. I also had to get some in pink & orange cuz I couldn't find all blue & green, but whatever.

& we only have 3 kids coming (FI's niece & nephews) so they get their own special tags

Wow Karen... I love all your stuff- what a great job!

I have a few (random) question for you... I see your wedding is 05/29/2010 and you sent the invitations out in October:

1. Did you specify a RSVP deadline, if so what was it?

2. If you are using a TA/group rate ...Was there a separate deadline to book the travel by?

My problem is... The group rate for the hotel is only good through June 1st and I am not sure if I should make the RSVP deadline also June 1st or a bit later... My wedding is not until 10/09/2010.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
