My dress is all finished now, but unfortunately, my camera battery died right when I went to take pictures at the final fitting smile35.gifsmile35.gif I'm so mad that I didn't check the battery before I went. Now it's all wrapped up in tissue for the flight, and I'm afraid to take it out before we leave. The cap sleeves look AMAZING though. They did an incredible job. They had ordered extra fabric directly from Romona Keveza, so the sleeves are exactly the same fabric as the rest of the dress. They kind of pleated/draped them to match the rest of the detail on the dress, and it looks perfect. It actually looks like the straps were always there! Once we get to Maui, I might try it on one more time, so if I do, I'll be sure to post some pics. Otherwise, I'll post some as soon as I have some pics (anybody's!) from the wedding!!!

I know, I can't believe it's only a week away! I should be packing right now, but instead I'm procrastinating on BDW!!! I forgot to answer your questions about the bustle - there's a really simple bustle with one "tuck" (no idea what you call it!) very low. It looks awesome. I almost didn't even bother with a bustle, but I'm so glad that I did, because it actually looks really pretty. I'll make sure to take a picture of the bustle when I get the dress out on Maui. I'm going to take it over to my sister's hotel room when she gets there on Wednesday, so that we can hang it and let any of the wrinkles from the flight fall out. I'm guessing I'll try it on again then, so I'll take more pics!

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!

      Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
