Has anybody heard from Charmaine about the menu options? I e-mailed her but haven't received a response.

So far I'm liking the Caribbean menu but there's got to be an alternate main dish to it, like the other choices......

She said that I was to tell her exactly what combinations I wanted... that they would substitute a beef dish in (other than veal) and that she'd let me know what the story was...

Okay, it's good that they're flexible with it. So the guests will get to choose fish or beef (or however you set it up) for their main entree.

I got f*cked over on our wedding time-slot.

I wanted 5pm. I got 3pm. Not thrilled about that - but will have to work with it... =(

awww.... well I guess you could have an earlier dinner instead or everybody gets a little free time-- more time for pics and a cocktail before dinner.

Did you decide where you're going to have your dinner/reception?

I'm glad to hear that we will be able to have another option for the dinner! I LOVE seafood, but I know lots of my family members are not big fans.

I totally agree about the blue & white seat covers! I already looked online for seat cushion rental companies so I can switch them out if needed. I found a couple of places that rent for $3/chair cushion. So, I figure worst case, if they don't have a rental place in Jamaica, I will bring them with me! I have a pic in my head of what the decor needs to look like and those cushions just do not fit in!!

Do you know if only 1 person can have a reception at a time in each restaurant? That sucks that your time got taken I would be soo mad!

If you girls think of anything you need me to look at/ask about I will be there in less than 2 weeks..so just let me know!! I can't wait!!! Sooo exciting!

I can't wait to see the updated pics..this is one of my top choices. It's so hard to pick when you aren't there to actually see everything!

Thanks to all who contributed their info when they visit! You guys are the bestest!

I also wanted to find out about this but haven't heard back yet... I saw this on bookit.com in a writeup about Grand Palladium Jamaica/Lady Hamilton :

"Honeymoon Bonus: Complimentary gifts in room upon arrival, free room upgrade subject to availability , King size Bed subject to availability, late checkout, one additional voucher for romantic A-la-Carte Dinner. (Max. two months from actual date of marriage, certificate to be presented at check-in). "

Do Grand Palladium brides qualify for this upgrade?

I'm not sure about that..She did email me a bunch of info already (it ended up being all of the same stuff that you have posted) and in reading the info it did state that we would get a free room upgrade, if available...I am not sure on the rest of the stuff as it does not mention any of that. I would assume yes but I will ask her to confirm.
