Jonathan and I first met when I was 17 and he was 24. He was a friend of my sisters boyfriend at that time. At the time I paid no attention to him what-so-ever. Kind of thought he was to old for me.

 

So several years go by and I hadn't seen him since I was in high school and he showed up at my sisters wedding. Well we started talking and decided that night that the next weekend he wanted to take me out. We went out and everything went great......Except, the next week I got strep throat and had to have my tonsils taken out.

 

So it was just bad timing for the two of us. We didn't talk for almost a month. Until one day I called him up and said that we needed to go hang out. He picked me up the next night and took me to diner and to the park down town. We walked for a while and then went to sit at a picnic table. He told me right then and there that he knew from the first time he saw me when I was 17 that he wanted to date me and marry me one day. I thought he was being funny about the marriage part. But we ended up dating for a 1 1/2 after that.

 

Then on ground hogs day this past February he took me to that same place and asked me to marry him....He truley is my soulmate....

 

The funny thing about us is that most people don't know that we have the exact same birthday....

Wow, that's an awesome story... mostly because I have practically the exact same story!!!!

That's crazy!

But anyway, I'm so glad that you found your soulmate!

Oh my goodness, I can't believe i missed this one (in my defense, I think I was on holidays! lol). So, during those years after you met him when you were 17 and before you saw him again at your sister's wedding, did you ever think about him?

 

That's so cool that you have the same birthday..which is....??

 

Aaron and I have birthdays only a few days apart. Mine is on Sept 22, his is on the 24th and our dating anniversary is on the 25th... and somehow for the first few years, he couldn't get my birthday right! lol he kept telling people it was on the 23rd! I think he knows now though!

It's okay!! Yes, I did think about him every now and then. Our birthday's are on April 6th.

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!

      Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
