Luscious eyelashes?!

Recommended Posts

Hey ladies!

I saw a review on this product to make your eyelashes look longer and fuller. I haven't tried it yet...but like the product junkie I am, I plan to soon! Anyway, I thought if any of you had tried it before, I'd love to hear what you thought. Also, for those of you girls, like me, who aren't so keen on the idea of false eyelashes, this may be a good alternative.

Talika Lash Extender

I'll let you guys know what I think once I try it! cheesy.gif

Sorry.. haven't tried it. I'm going to have my lashes done just before I leave for Cabo.. I heard it makes all the difference in the world for pictures.. I have a girlfriend who's addicted to it.

I think she may mean lash extensions. Monica is thinking about having those done as well. I haven't done a lot of research on it, but it's along the same lines as hair extensions...but for lashes! I think an average price I've heard is about $250 or so. They take a couple hours to put on but last for several weeks.

That too time/cost intensive for me but I guess once you've got 'em, at least they're there for a while.

Sorry.. you're right I meant extensions.. as an alternative (due to the cost factor) I may purchase single lashes to place on the edges.. will need to learn the technique on that.

Really? That sounds cool, I wonder if I can fit that in after my $600. teeth whitening treatment I want. Not to mention that I am paying for my FI's invisalign! I think I should sign for some more OT.

Lol! Yeah, whenever you make your wedding budget you're always thinking of things like dress, food, drinks, flowers etc. You never think to factor in the 2k you'll inevitably spend at getting facials, tooth whitening, gym membership, tanning, hair, makeup etc etc!! lol!

It seriously feels like you need a separate beauty budget just for the wedding! Never mind all the clothes you'll need... haha!

We'll have to find out what her secret was!

Although it wouldn't shock me at all to find out that her lashes are just naturally super beautiful! Darn pretty girls...lol!!

    • I know it is really tough job to get everything at best cost. I would like to suggest to contact local wedding planner or decorators to get the quotes. It will take some time but by comparing different quotes you will get the best package.
    • If you want to enjoy your wedding then go for a dance floor. It is a precious moment of your life and you should enjoy it.
    • As you have said it is going to be a beach wedding so I would recommend a combination of Calla Lily and Daffodil. You can also use Calla lily or Daffodil individually. Both the flowers have different colors so it will easily attract anyone.

    • I’m a wedding planner/organizer by profession. Truth be told, I don’t have that much experience in the industry but I’m doing the best I can. We will be working on a wedding next month with a foreign couple. I’m usually the one who handles everything on behalf of the bride during the day so I need some tips and advice on how to handle brides from foreign countries. Do they need special accommodations? What are the kinds of services they are used to when under pressure? What kind of snacks should I offer them during breaks or when they’re hungry? Thanks so much in advance.
