You guys crack me up.

So mine name is pronounced Ya*dee. I know it's weird, I blame it on my mother, cause she is from Mexico and pronounces her "r" like a "d". I always wanted to change the spelling to Yadi, but then it just looks weird to me.

When people call me Yar*ee I know that they are a stranger...too funny! My dad calls me Yar*ee to piss me off.

Get this my full name is Yadira...um why is there a "d"?? I swear I got jacked with my name.

Okay, so back to Yari... I get that I got the consonant wrong. what about the vowel? Is is Yah-dee or Yay-dee?

Now I'm going to have to stalk this thread until she clears it up.
its like yah-dee :) i remember because in my head i'm always yelling at her "yadira!" her full name wink.gif

EDIT: she beat me :) and if you roll your R when you say yari, you get yahdrdrdi, make sense? :)

Mine is plain ol Lisa G. When i was little I would tell people to spell is Lesu. I know I'm a dork. And G is for my last name.

Oh and RachelleE....I always thought it was Rach-el until I met her and thank god JaimeLynn told me I was pronoucing it wrong before she got there. It's Rach-elle. haha...I always called her Rach.

Casey is pretty basic. It's pronounced like the 2 letters K and C. It bugged me when I was a kid though and a friend of mines dad put an emphasis on the K and the C like you would initials instead of just on the K part. But I don't really get that too often since it's a pretty common name. I wish I had a crazy name sometimes.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
