Ladies,

I have moved to a small town where the pricing for indoor tanning is a wopping $1.25 per minute wtf.gif which I think is plain outrageous!

My question to you all is has anyone used sunless tanners that work well? Have you tried other things that may work?

My wedding is in Feb so it is still a ways away but I want to no be whiter then my dress on my big day! LOL

Thanks so much!

i have tried SEVERAL sunless tanners over the years and the Coppertone moisture mist is BY FAR my favorite!!!!

Coppertone Sunless Tanning Moisture Mist Tan Continuous Spray Light/Medium 6 ounces at Hocks.Com

most of them give off an orangy tint or a terrible smell but this one worked great for me. every skin type is different but i have recomended it to a few people and there hasnt been any bad feedback.

i usually shave and really scrub the dead skin away before spraying. i use 2 coats and it looks natural. throw on a pair of old panties or old bathing suite and spray away. its like a can of hairspray so if you do it in a bathroom be sure to keep a window open. i usually have my FI spray the back of me.

good luck!

That is crazy expensive! I also live in a small town and it isn't that bad. We have a few tanning places though and some places are more than others, but I get 6mins for $1 at my gym. I guess I should almost start that soon so I can get a good base before going down there and frying in the sun. Hope you find something that works well for you.

i have a small bathroom as well and i didnt have a problem. i just made sure to splash some water ont he walls once i was done. i stood in the tub and opened the small block window and it was okay.

like any self tanner, you can not shower or exercise for a few hours after spraying yourself. i usually spray and then let it dry for an hour or so and then throw on the second coat. if you see you missed a spot then just spray the next day or if you find a spot that may have dripped (its a clear mist, but it may drip down causing a darker line if not rubbed in) then just scrub in the shower and it comes right off.

I've used Jergens before too, but did you find that it turns your palms orange? It also seemed to get really orange and caked up between my fingers. Hmmm.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
