Ooooh girls I'm so excited ! I'm on vacation ! My tables issue just got solved ! My carrying cash issue just got solved (I am going to paypal and add the paypal fees - less expensive than travellers checks anyway) !! I just got some little receipts books from office max to do my receipts and... I feel so excited !

awesome Atiya! My first issued happened last night. I went to Amex to get travelers checks for my photographer and they shorted me $300!! How annoyed am I? I didn't realize it until last night and I started to cry about it. When I called Amex they told me that I had to deal with the local branch since they made the screw up!! I am leaving on Monday-HELLO!!!!

that is the problem-bastards are not open on Saturdays and we leave MOnday at 7:40 am!!!

Oh ffs!! that is so not helpful - get back on to the head office and tell them they are sorting it out now! not sure how you'll get the cash tho!

 

and make sure you demand compensation for this - what a bunch of arses

yeah thats crazy!... what time are you leaving on monday?? would u have time to pop in right when they open up or do u have a morning flight?? If thats a yes and u cant get in .. do u think that someone can spot u the 300$ until you get back? I hope this works out for you.. but id try calling H.O. again and demand some sort of help!

We leave first thing in the morning on Monday. It sucks-and I never ever lose things so it is even worse~I am going to have to wait until we get back to deal with it.
Fiance is going to give me the extra $300-it is just a total pain in the arse

yeah i can imagine... all you can do is take a few deep breaths and know that when u get back you can tear someone's head off for this ridiculous mistake!!... hopefully that will make u feel better meanwhile

That whole amex thing is really outrageous. I'm sorry that has added to the stress. That blows.
