OK I found this super useful link in one of the thread that popped out from a search for "customs" in the Riviera Maya forum :

They say, 300$ per person, can be combined with family, on top of the free stuff listed which is : personal belongings, one camera, one video camera, one cell phone...

 

My flowers alone are more than this... I will have to make up something wink.gif Just for my peace of mind.

That's a good site thanks so much!!! It says family (spouse or children) so he isn't my spouse - yet so I think he can bring $300 in and I can bring $300 in!

I have been told by past brides and reading reviews that if you do get that red light they will ask you for receipts!!! check this one out:

Just an FYI... I remember reading a review that one lady and her significant other didn't have receipts and they took her in the back room threatening to take her stuff or she had to pay like a $500 tarriff but all the customs police were looking for was a handout so after they gave them like a $100 and making it a 2 hour process they let them pass. So I figured I rather be safe and get the reciepts!

THATS IT!! Thats the thread I read where she made fake receipts!!! I knew I saw it somewhere but i read so many thread while I am bored at work that I forget where I see things and I am terrible with the search!

Lisa and Jax,

Both of your dresses are sooooo pretty!!!! You both will look wonderful on your big day.

I went to my moms last nite and she had me try on the dress as she pinned up the last layer to be hemmed!!! She said it will be done tonite and I will take pics to post later.

I picked my wedding processional finally and it is damien rice "Blower's daughter" and my recessional is U2 "Beautiful Day" and our first dance is the pouges "Love You Till The End" it was on the PS I love you soundtrack.

I got ya covered on the fake reciepts!!! Go to microsoft.com and under "templates" type in receipts, they'll give ya a template for receipts (that's how I did mine)! Look at the attachment I attached it's the same thing! Also, staples or office max sells forms for reciepts that you can fill out with a pen!!!

I got my dress!! I mean how quick was that lol less than a week!

 

Mind you she hasn't done everything i've asked her lol like the straps are still on! and it's still not that tight on the top so i'm going to have to get a mega push up bra as i've lost that much weight i've dropped a size or 2 lol

 

This weekend will be nightmare lol

Another thing I found about entering Mexico, (it also tells about the alotted $300) which ya might want to look at is we have to all fill out a Tourist Card and Hacienda form on the plane... Here are some links explaining more info on that. Remember we need to keep the tourist card in order to leave the country!!!

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!

      Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
