I can't even get a band !!! My dress is BACKLESS ! Why why why did I do that ?

Well, only 4 days in the Riviera without going on the beach. I should be able to do that. Yes. I should.

YAY!

I just had my first fitting myself this week-the next one is scheduled for April 21st.

With you on the stress eating! I had gained a bunch a weight after buying the dress, and only now was able to squeeze back into it. I'd still like to lose about 5 more lbs, though.

Do bandeau bathing suits look good on anyone? I have to get one as well and that so does not work with my body. I definitely can't just avoid the sun though. We're taking everyone on a 4 hour catamaran ride the day before the wedding. Hmmm, I'll have to get a strapless cover-up.

Kristy I honestly DO NOT think bandeau bikinis look good on anyone with a chest larger than an A cup. It does bad things for the boobs in my opinion. A strapless bathing suit with cup support would be better. I usually wear halter tankinis and fold the straps down when not running around. It works.

I also bought a white strapless cover up from the GAP a while back. You might check there.

I think avoiding tan lines is one of the very few downsides of a dw! My skin just soaks in the sun whether I'm just walking around or laying on the beach(never burns though), so strapless is a must sad.gif

If I am going to look terrible with a bandeau bikini anyway, does this mean I get the green light to eat all the delicious food/desserts I've been avoiding? hehehe... hmm... perhaps this is a blessing in disguise!

That made me laugh, the problem with me doing that is my boobs will get bigger. I've lost about 20 lbs over the past few months and I swear 10 of it was in my boobs. The upside, I look half way decent in the bandeau top with my itty-bittys :)

Ladies!! I have been missing. Damn work has been keeping me away from wedding planning and the forum!

I can't believe we leave for Cabo in a little over a month (1 month, 4 days and 19 hours to be exact!) ha.

I still have so much to do. My main focus right now is getting the stuff for our guest book. I am trying to find a decent priced polaroid camera. Fun times. I did order our favors today and also scheduled my last fitting for my dress for this Friday! Ya!

Now I need to go back and read all the posts that I have missed. I'm a little behind!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
