Hello everyone,

I don't seem to have as much too plan as some of you do.

I have the weddingmoon booked at Beaches Turks and Caicos May 2-10.

Wedding is booked for may 7th at 11AM.

deposit is down for the vacation part have to pay in full by March (thank goodness for income tax return)

wedding dress ordered Search Results - Bridal Gowns - Wedding Gowns - Plus Size Bridal | Wedding Gowns Full Figure Bras Crinolines

shoes bought they are soo cute Dyeables - Product Detail

wedding jewelry bought

trying to figure out how to do my hair or if i am getting a headpiece

I have all the paperwork done, but need to fed ex it to the resort

trying to decide if I want to do the private dinner for $50 a piece or just a cocktail reception for $15 a piece

Still have to buy the plane tickets, but I am hoping the price comes down

Fi has the pants but still needs to find a shirt.

I sure hope I don't forget something.

Question about invitations I didn't send any out since it is just my inlaws, my parents and my sister in law coming. Do you do invites for the receptions back home?

So apparently tonight I decided to get in full fledge craft mode. Lord knows what has gotten into me.

Tonight alone I've done -

Putting my invitations for the AHR in there envelopes so they only need to be addressed.

Putting my pre cruise packets together. They do look so cute though!

Weaved pink and blue ribbon through the organza bags for the travel lotion, shower gel and sanitizer. Atleast till I ran out of ribbon!!

My computer room looks like Martha Stewarts workshop! The FI is gonna look at me like I have 10 head when he comes home from work! But today I just realized I have less then 4 months to get all this stuff done and I'm still trying to remodel the house!!! And I have a girls weekend scheduled to go away in that 4 month time!

Good thing I work nights and I can either watch TV, play my DS or get this stuff done!!!

booked DJ-Soundwaves
booked photographer-Studio Julie
Waiting for my dress that I had to exchange for size to come in
Purchased shoes
Purchased most of my makeup, but have to wait to fade b4 I can buy my true shade
Purchased FI outfit inc. shoes
Picked out std's and invites and now waiting for them to be made by someone who is crafty...meaning not me.
Picked out ideas for centerpiece, hair, makeup look, cocktail gathering

that's it and it seems like I have sooo much more to do.

Good luck May brides!pinkie.gif
Now that the semester is done (straight A's meant no wedding planning for me) and I can focus on planning before the next semester I thought I'd update my list.

-OOT bag- purchased awesome sale tote bags from BBW, travel body lotion and shower gel and scented hand sanitizer from BBW all for a great discount
-decided to book someone to do my hair and makeup
-had the final fitting for my dress and will pick up on the 16th
-booked hotel room for wedding
-booked flights for myself, fi and our kids and my cousin who is bringing the kids back for us
-booked honeymoon at Cap Juluca- we're staying 12 days in Anguilla
-purchased mantilla
-booked steel drummer
-final menu for reception
-sent off for passport

Crap, I still have so much left to do and only a few weeks to finalize it!

Hi Everyone! I just found this thread. I am a May Bride getting married at Le Meridien Cancun on May 14th!

I have some catching up to do!

- I just received my bridesmaids dresses - I was a little upset because instead of them being black and white they are black and silver! I'm just going to let it roll though!

- Also starting to collect items for my OOT bags

- Planning my AHR as well

-Trying to figure out what to do with florals. If I need anything outside of my package the florists requires a minimum of $2k and I am not trying to spend that on flowers!

Well that's pretty much what I'm working on now!

Bye for now,

Mesita

Hi Ladies!! I just found this post! Where have I been? I am getting married on May 16, 2009 at the Sheraton Hacienda del Mar. I am so far behind that I now want to be sick! This is what I do have done:

1) Hotel booked

2) Coordinator booked

3) Photographer booked

4) DJ booked

5) Started to put together BM gift bags

6) Sent out STD's

7) Rooms booked for us and the other people we are paying for

cool.gif Ordered my dress and has since been delivered to the store, now I just need to pick it up

9) Bridesmaid dresses picked out and a few have ordered

and um...ya..that is about it!! I have the flowers picked out that we want and have the centerpieces picked out, but have not heard from my coordinator yet. I am also waiting on my coordinator to send me more information on the videographer. I feel like I have so much stuff left to do and my to-do list keeps getting longer!

K, enough freaking out!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
