FMIL was MOH at her best friend's wedding last year. She totally forgot the groom's ring at home (2 1/2 hours away). Trust me, there are worse things that could happen. They just used the groom's BIL's ring. No one knew the difference.

Definitely expect that something will be forgotten. That's just how it works. If it makes you feel better, Carly forgot her dress! Luckily her parents were flying down the next day and brought it for her.

I leave in one week!!!!! My mom is still working on my dress. I really have everything done besides getting a bikini wax, eyebrows waxed, and a pedicure. I also wanted to go to the mall and have my makeup done, so I know how I wanna do it for the wedding. My bachloerette party is this sat. I am also getting my hair dyed and a trail wedding do this sat!!!

Over the past few months I think I've had approximately 10 dreams in which I've forgotten my dress at home!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! shots.gif

As for my planning and prep ... FI and I realized this week that we have a lot to do and he's FINALLY on board with the OOT bag content purchasing ... so we're hitting the shops tonight after work to find:
- Sand ceremony vases (hoepfully at Pier 1, maybe Stokes)
- OOT bag goodies at Wal-Mart
- DIY supplies for OOT bags, dinner table

This Saturday I'm having my hair cut and colored ... and my bachlorette is on Saturday night. I can't WAIT!!

I'm like you, I keep having dreams that I forget my dress. In 1/2 I freak out, in the others I just buy another all calm-like very weird.

May I recommend that you hit up a dollar store for your OOT bags. They have a ton of good stuff and a lot of it is 2 for $1 so you get even more!

Yay a date twin!!! Hi!!!!! smile03.gif

And Jax I LOVE your dress!!! The train is gorgeous!

I'm hoping to pick up my dress next Saturday when I go for my final fitting ... JUST before I fly ... ;-) And I told my seamstress if I drop like 5 lbs in the next week and a 1/2 then she'll have like 5 days to fix it. LOL She wasn't too happy about that ...

I did sneak into the seamstress last night (shhhh) sans MOH and mother and I tried on the dress and it FINALLY fits perfectly. So, provided I don't do anything stupid (like starve myself or overeat or anything) then it should be absolutely perfect for the big day!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
