Why on earth did I think that it was a good idea to get married after tax month? I run my own business and April is possibly going to take me out! Whoops.

However, I love may so much, both FI and I have our birthdays in May right before the wedding.

I just firmed up my timeline. In Playa del carmen we have to have a civil ceremony and it was really important to me to have a spiritual ceremony so my timeline looks like this

10am-civil ceremony-immediate family only

11:30-Hair...this can take up to 3 hours I have heard so I booked it early so I could take my time getting ready

4pm- Beach ceremony

4-5:30 photos

6pm-dinner

I am getting very excited...however my dress is far too small and can't be let out..so I am off to the gym!

anyone have any idea how to save your wedding website?

mine is only good til august then it'll go bye bye. i put a lot of work into my website too and want to save it somehow. i don't think screen shots will work cuz you'd miss some of the screen due to having to scroll. is printing my only option?

I was thinking of saving it in Word. From the File menu you select "Edit with Microsoft Word. Everything shows up in Word regardless if you can see it on your monitor. No scrolling issues. :>

Otherwise, I can use our screen capture software called snag it at work. It captures everything on the page in the screenshot including stuff you would have to scroll to normally see on your monitor.

In the "edit" menu, you should have an option "save page as", then if you choose, "html page complete", or "webpage, complete", it will save the page on your hard drive as is, and put all the files (pics, etc) into a folder. You can do this for each page.

It works on both IE and Firefox.

Alright so I suffered a mild but annoying anxiety attack in the middle of the night last night because I realized how very close everything is, and how very little I've actually accomplished.

Here's what my to-do list looks like right now:

- Wedding bands: Need to be paid for and picked up

- Need 2 large suitcases (can borrow one from Gen if needed)

- Bra for me for under wedding dress

- Gift for Sissi (starfish necklace and earrings $22 + $3 shipping possibly from BDW girl)

- Colin's clothing (pants/shirt)

- Mark's BM clothing (pants/shirt)

- Sash for Gen's dress to match Mark's shirt (being made)

- Speakers for iPod

- OOT bag contents (Have: 10 Bags, 6 Sudoku books, 10 pashminas, 10 water bottles, 10 Spanish for Dummies books, still need first aid kit stuff, crossword books, OOT contents for Sissi, kid stuff, post-it notes, pencils/pens, playing cards, etc.)

- Need to write welcome letter and resort info

- Beach bag for Gen, monogrammed ($15 from Etsy), plus "extras" for her because she's MOH and done so much for me already...

- Hair cut and redo streaks - Appointment made for April 25th with Karine

- Get nails done - Appointment made for May 1st

- Colin hair cut at least 1 week before leaving date

- Extras for decoration if there are any needed (cake topper/table at dinner)

- Call the airline to ensure traveling with my dress is alright and find out how they plan to carry it on board (some people have issues with airlines wanting to shove the dress into the overhead !!)

- Make sure everyone has their tickets at least 2 weeks before leaving date

- Make sure Spooky (my cat) has enough pills/both have enough food wet and dry/bring cats to parent's place a few days before leaving.

- Gift for parents ... unknown!

- Gift for Colin - BD shoot may be in jeoprady so I have NO idea what to do instead (date I had planned to do it isn't going to work out and I am seriously running out of time.)

And this is what I've accomplished so far:

- Ordered flower girl dress $120 online

- Wedding shoes for Mandy

- White flip-flops for my walk from the room to the beach for the ceremony

- Bouquet starfish

- Wedding jewelry Mandy/Gen (gift for Gen)

- Garter

- Wedding dress alterations (next appointment April 11th, final should be April 24th)

- Bought sashes to decorate chairs at wedding location

OMG It stresses me to look at that.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
