I just love all the new ideas I am getting from this board. I cannot believe I didn't find it until a few weeks ago. The day I found out about Boudoir photo shoots last week I found a photographer and booked her for 4/11. I will have all the pics including 10 touched up ones by 4/20 so I can get the Blurb book completed and delivered by 4/30. The who's who letter is something I hadn't even thought about. It is a great idea especially since there will be about 27 of us in 1 house and most don't know each other. Thanks guys!!

~well at least now my credit card company knows i'll be traveling in a month or so and not to suspend my credit card when they see charges from the Domnican!!!!

** I know it is a bit early to do this stuff but I am on school break this week and need to get stuff done NOW cause once I go back it will be insane..I have exams until May 8th and then my bach party Sat. May 9th and then we leave Monday, may 11th!!!!

All of my guests are now booked! That's for both the flights and the villas! Woo hoo!

I keep going back and forth between paper and nylon parasols. I'm not sure which is better. It's the little things like this that drive me crazy. I guess I should just head into Chinatown and pick up whatever looks good so I can be done with it.

Can someone tell me why I scheduled my AHR 8 days after we get home from our honeymoon?! The day after I get home is my BF's shower and bachelorette party, so I don't even have a weekend to work on anything. Too much stuff going on! I love it all, but wish it was spread out a little bit!

i don't check the thread for a few days and i'm a few pages behind. lol

yael i love your favors, so cute!

my wedding schedule is:

ceremony - noon

pictures - til 3 pm probably

break to do whatever....my guests will have a longer break since i'll be doing pictures

dinner - 6 pm

poolside dancing and drinking reception - 8-10:30 pm

after that is where ever the party keeps on going...probably the hacienda

i've been told by my flight attendant friend that calling the airline about your dress is pointless. it's up to the cabin and crew of your flight what they do with your dress. but they always find space for it somewhere where it won't get too crushed

Lucky you !!

I still have 4 guests not booked - no flights, no room... one of them is a groomsman, the other the brother of DH... Tomorrow I'll send a "one moth to go" e-mail with updates to our website for pretext, I hope it will shake them sad.gif

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
