your countdown on your signature freaks me out because it reminds me I have so much to do. We still haven't decided on a honeymoon even though now we are between Victoria HOuse in Belize and the Tides in Playa Del Carmen. I am stressed.

I can't believe it is coming so fast.

Lets do drinks this week. I am open.

I know... me too! We haven't really picked out where we're going to honeymoon either. We're going to spend 3 months in Italy and were going to do a beach in Mexico for a week before, but now I'm not sure. We may just go to Italy. A 3 month honeymoon is nothing to complain about.

I would LOVE to grab a drink this week. I am going to see Bridal Wars on Wednesday, but other than that... I'm free!

It sounds like you girls are mostly on target... I ended up having two and a half years to plan and all it does is give you more time to change your mind, lol.

LuckyGirl- we went to Anguilla as well for two weeks and went back this year for our anniversary... it is the most amazing place on earth... let me know if you have any questions, I know the island inside out.

Mishi-
That's awesome. I appreciate all advice. I will pm you. Thanks!

We have also booked the first half of our trip and are staying 6 days at Ku, just rec'd confirmation.
I forgot to add we've had our website up. But I feel like it was a waste of money since people are still txt'ing me with questions and hardly anyone has signed in nor visited. WTF.

I'm having everyone rsvp on our website in lieu of them sending rsvp cards. All of our guest have access to the internet, so I figured this wouldn't be a problem. But now I'm wondering if I did the wrong thing. Oh well, too late now. But have any of you or have any of you known of anyone that has nixed sending in an rsvp card and just had everyone do it online? I should add that the invite will have a rsvp card that provides the date to rsvp and website with passwords.

Good luck guys! Here's to happy planning!smile03.gif

you girls with the tickers are freaking me out. how did it get so closehuh.gif? i got engaged in may of 2007!!!!

at this point, with the economy, we're really unsure about who all is coming, and our bridal party is in shambles (right now i have 5 girls and 2 guys, and one of those guys is already a stand-in!), so i haven't done anything toward OOT bags or bridal party attire. the girls need to get on it if they are ordering the dresses they picked at davids. i haven't had my first fitting yet.

and worst of all, i STILL haven't sent out invites. i skipped STDs to go straight to invites, but that was when i thought i was going to have them out months ago. everyone knows via email and word of mouth, but still! i don't know what my problem is. i'm lucky i still have a fiance. i am the biggest procrastinator in the world, and he loves me anyway! wink.gif

I find drinking helps too. LOL. I just wish I had some of you ladies close to me so we can grab drinks together! Sometimes you just need to vent to another bride that knows what you are going through! I was venting to FI last night about our videographer/coordinator issue and he said, "babe...we have so much time, stop freaking out." I laughed at him.

Yeah I freaked out with how little time is left!!

Slowly I'm working on my crafts for my OOT bags and AHR stuff.

Ok enough of the computer, I HAVE to go rip up some carpet in my bedroom so we can finish this remodeling!! I've had my brand new king size bedroom set in my dining room since November!!!

Hey ladies! I am getting married Saturday, May 8th 2010 (I know, I've got awhile!)

I just realized I will be there for my wedding week of Cinco De Mayo! Does anyone know if it's more crowded, expensive or poses any problems? Without even thinking I was planning on having my bachelorette party that day.

Any insight or info would be MUCH appreciated.

Thanks!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
