I'm not in the US, but FH and I just registered today at Sears. For us, it was the most logical choice. My family is from all Canada, the US and Europe. For us, Sears is available in North America, and it's really easy to purchase online from them. FH's family is from Northern Ontario and they don't have any Bay stores or access to any (or least that's what FH told me). Sears is readily available for everyone.

We weren't going to register at all, and then my Mom just told me she is throwing me a shower and I should register...then my friend mentioned her parents wanted to know where I was registered so I should really get registered... I think we are going to go with Macy's and Target - - and maybe Crate and Barrel? Pottery Barn? I don't know? I feel weird registering since we said "no gifts". LOL But if we don't register, people are going to buy us a bunch of stuff we don't necessarily need or want... decisions decisions...

We just registered this morning at Crate & Barrel. It was so much fun! If you can, go to one of their "wedding party" events, they have them at most every few months I think. Not only did we get to go and have the whole store to ourselves(there were only a few other couples also registering) for two hours before the store opened for the day, but they had a bunch of employees helping out, answering questions, and doing demos on stuff. So we browsed, ate, and just had fun. They had coffee, paninis, smoothies, and even mimosas for us! And then when we were leaving, they gave us a free gift for coming, this adorable blown glass heart shaped dish. Check it out.

Plus, you can add stuff to your registry you see on their website, and people from all over the country can buy you stuff and have it shipped to you. And you get the discount after the wedding. I'm psyched!

Other than that, we're planning on also registering at Target so we can register for some electronics, kitchen appliances, and everyday dishes.

We're registered at crate and barrel and amazon.com .. I love amazon.com because people can get free shipping and it's easily accessible from anywhere. I would've done the whole thing on amazon.com but I do have some people in my family that are averse to shopping online...

We're registered at Macy's and Target.

Macy's all I have is Calphalon pots and pans, wine glasses from reidal, a set of casual china, and flatware. I think Dave added the Margaritaville blender and Henkel knives.

Target has everything else - it was waaaay cheaper!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
