Question about an oot bag at an all inclusive resort

Recommended Posts

I really want to have oot bags but my fiance doesnt understand the purpose since were at a really nice all inclusive resort. He wants to know what we would put in them since they don't need things like snacks or bottled water the mini bar is well stocked and included. Does anyone have any suggestions on what I could put inside.

heyy...my FI said the same thing about having OOT bags...so instead we have decided to get really nice beach towels and have them embroidered with our wedding date and names and make one for each person coming with us! something that they can take home and use at the resort for sure

We are thinking about including larger mugs because the AI we are going to only gives out disposable 8 oz cups- lots of waste, don't keep drinks cool, and small! I'm also planning on post-it notes and festive pens so that people can get in touch with others at the resort- just stick a note on the door. We are including 'American' snacks like a Hershey's bar, or something like that, b/c I've heard they are hard to find at the resort. Also, I may include an inflatable beach ball for fun and games. There are several great threads about OOT on the forum, just do a search and you'll find lots of great ideas!

I always get the munchies at the weirdest times when I am on vacation and don't always want to lug myself down to the snack bar to get something, so I have included a few munchies in my OOT at our AI. Check the list out there is alot of things people could use on the trip but don't think of bringing. I love the post it idea so people can leave notes for others on doors.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
