Hi. Thanks for your well wishes Christa. Syl I just peeked at the web site that was set up for your sister. That's wonderful, what a great idea to keep people informed. I may copy that idea from you. Good luck to you and your sister.

 

Well we completed our walk today. It was wonderful. We had about 190 walkers and raised, get this, over $33,000 today from the walk and money still coming in. We had already raised $16,000 from our first fundraiser in May. It looks like our first year goal of $50,000 is going to really happen. We all met at Marie's house after to count the money and relaxed and it was great for the six of us to be together after all the hard work. Next year our goal will be much more. If you haven't had a chance to look at the web site or even if you have please take a peek next week. There will be pictures of the walk on there. It's Sisters Against Ovarian Cancer

 

Let's get rid of cancer once an for all!

There is way too much cancer in my family and I have my own "green card" which is the patiendt id card at Roswell Park Cancer Institute. Yari is raising money right now for a leukemia walk. She has a link.

My only complaint about last night (besides Beyonce's hair) was the short length of the program. More could have been raised/ taught about the disease if it lasted more than an hour.

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!

      Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
