Ours is also at 4pm. I figure worse case scenario we will be glowing in our pictures!! lol

So I am working on our Boarding Pass invites, and gosh does it ever take a while!!

I have done a few test runs on them so far because the alignement. There is information on front and back, so they have to align up perfectly so that when you cut them, you don't chop off the back.

Now I am just waiting to get the French version from my mom so that I can start printingall 100 of them, cutting, stamping, etc...

So much work, but oh so worth it in the end (hopefully everyone will love them).

We priced them at a local wedding invitation store, and they wanted to charge us 800$ considering we have bough about 100$ of supplies, we saved ALOT of $$$.

I can't believe that our big day is less than 6 months from now!! Our wedding date is June 11 which will be our 7 year anniversary! I secretly can't wait for the holidays to be over so I can get planning.

So far I have..

STD sent out (about 35 people books)-still debating over sending out "real" invitations

Bought and received my dress

Found a pattern for my BM's dresses (we are getting them made)-looking for fabric

Bought OOT bags (after season sale at Old Navy-Love them!!)

Started collecting some stuff for OOT bags

Bought starfish charms off ebay (for the fans maybe?)

Found hair style for the big day

Upcoming on the list...

Decide on photographer-resorts or bringing one in?

Order fans

Starting looking at mens outfits (I found a place I think I am going to order them from)

Decide on newsletter or flyer to send out to those coming

Hi everyone,

I am a June 11th bride. Congrats to all who have done so much. I basicly have found and booked a resort. I am terrible at this. So I am glad for all your help. So forgive my stupid questions.

Jennifer I love your monogram, where did you get it? Now for the stupid questions- what all do you use it for? How do you transfer to OOT bags?

Any input on photographers?

I love idea of boarding pass invites but would never be able to make, any place that does at reasonable price? I saw one that used it as itentary for oot bag- cute idea

I just am feeling so overwhelmed and feel like I will never be able to pull this off. I don't have very much time. You guys are doing a great job!!cheers.gif

Hi Gail,

I am getting married at the Iberostar Del Mar on June 25th. I got my monogram from Sarah Sproulle at Sproullie Designs. I am going to use them for the OOT bags. I ordered a natural canvas bag. I also bought transfer paper so that I can print them on the transfer paper and iron them onto the bags.

I am also using Claudia Rodriguez Photography. The resort charges a $300 fee for using an outside vendor.

The wedding is less than six months away! I am starting to stress out!

Where are you ladies looking at for the grooms attire? FI would like to wear linen pants and like a Cuban shirt. I have bookmarked a few pages and he says that he is not quite sure he likes these places. I have been trying to make him decide on something. I have a feeling that he is going to wait until May to pick something out!

I am also looking into guys attire right now. My FI has chosen 7, yes I said 7 groomsmen. Funny because I am only having 3 bridesmaids.

Anyway, here are a few place I have bookmarked. I think I have decided on linen pants, and long sleeve shirts with the sleeves rolled at the bottom. I am having a hard time deciding on color choices. I think the shirts I like are called Embroidered Guayabera

Men's - Casual Shirts - Button-front - TropiCool® Short Sleeve Guayabera Shirt

Beach Wedding Attire & Dresses, Linen Wedding Pants, Shirts, Guayabera, Hawaiian, Havana, and Linen Suits

Chocolate Linen Amalfi Shirt (long-sleeve) - Island Importer

Guayabera shirts, guayabera, guayaberas, guayabera shirt, tropical shirts, mexican shirts

If you have any other links let me know.

Ashley

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
