THANK GOODNESS, I am not the only one slacking off smile124.gif

I think we should all just enjoy the holidays and then go full throttle come January ~ and yes I feel ya when you say you're dealing with the indecisive family/friend problem. I think we can't realistically expect much until about 4 or 5 months till.*sigh* which sucks cuz there's so much planning involved they just don't realize. rant.gif

WOW, while I'm still really nervous that I'm letting things slide, come January we will all be just 6 months from our special days!!!! Super exciting ladies ~ smile159.gif

We're getting married June 11, 2009 at the Dreams Resot in Los Cabos....

So far we've....Confirmed a group rate (and have 25 guests booked!!), booked the photographer and DJ in Cabo, bought my wedding dress, the bridesmaid dresses, bought fuscha chair bows, sent out my Mexico Invites and Canada STD's...

I'm sort of at a loss of what more I could be doing right now....

Thank goodness for this site!

booked our location for the reception here when we get home

Hey ladies. I am in the same boat with alot of you. I just got tired of doing wedding stuff for a while with life and everything LOL. The plan is for me and my FI to do our wedding menu using Vistaprint over christmas as well as work on our ceremony. I'm also going to light a fire under my bridesmaids to purchase their dresses. We just got our deadline for everyone to pay their deposit....its December 1st so in about a week we will have an idea of who is serious about attending the wedding. The price increased once already so we were telling people if they are serious, now is the time to pay the deposit.

I think that's all I have planned for December LOL.

Am I the only one starting to feel the pressure, but still not getting off my ass to fix it? girl_werewolf.gif

I feel the same way! I have been so stressed out thinking of everything that has to be done but I am telling myself to wait until after the holidays. I am just afraid once January hits the time will fly and I will be scrambling to get everything finished!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
