April 2009 Brides Check In!

Recommended Posts

awww welcome back Reese78 glad to hear all went well!

I think it is so funny how this thread went dead mid-month because we were all too busy with our weddings!

I too have been back for a couple of days and settling back into the "real world".

I have to admit...we had an AWESOME wedding and now I have a fabulous hubby BUT I am really sad that it is all over with sad.gif I spent so much time working on anything and everything related to the wedding now with all of this "free time" i am not quite sure I know what to do with myself!

Luckily though one of my friends is getting married in June and she has asked for my help with fun DIY projects...that will keep me busy for awhile i suppose!

Can't wait to see everyones pics!!!!!

That is funny! April 10th was the last post until today! HA!

I was also so happy with how our wedding went and can't believe it's all over. It was such a huge deal to make sure the dress fit perfectly and to pick the perfect hair...and then at the end of the night when it was all over I didn't want to take it off! It was actually a good thing that we had our AHR on April 25th cause I was excited to wear my dress again!

How did everyone else's trip go? I'm sure they were wonderful!

I was showing my pics to someone at work and she loved them so much that she ended up convincing her FI that they should have a DW next April! They're going to Jamaica!

Gotta love DW wedding photos! I love them!!!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
