It's Fri and I'm bored

I'm having a boring day too. I guess I have a sporty weekend planned. I'm supposed to go to a minor league baseball game tomorrow night (Hudson Valley Renegades), then on Sunday I'm watching football ALL day (loved the Giants win last night!) at FI's sister's house, then it's on to watching the Mets/ Phillies game that night.

The only non-sporty thing I'm doing this weekend is going to the bridal shop to try on the dress that I think will become my dress! I tried it on last week and loved it, but wanted to wait a week before buying it.

I'm not posting pics until I decide it's my dress. I don't want to be a tease!

Actually, the bridal shop told my mom she couldn't take any unless I was buying the dress. Every time she'd try to sneak one, someone would walk by. But if all goes well tomorrow, you will be seeing pics this weekend!

You all have fun weekends planned! Mine is definitely not as exciting. Tonight we're grocery shopping and wedding shopping, and probably renting a movie. I really want to see What Happens In Vegas.

Tomorrow we're painting the last room in the house that has the former owners paint! I can't wait for our whole house to be "us". Then we're going out to dinner to celebrate Joe's birthday.

Then Sunday I have to take Joe to the airport... sad.gif he has to go to Minneapolis for a month for training. boo! Then I'll probably finish up some wedding stuff. Maybe print my timelines and that stuff.

Oh and I'm going to try and work on my pasty white skin. For living in Arizona and "the valley of the sun" i am pasty white! So the pool will be calling my name.

I am so ready for this day to be over! I am having such a crappy day, and I am really hating my job! I am excited for this weekend so at least I have something to look forward to. Tomorrow is Mike's b-day so we are going to dinner and to the Chicago Fire game. Then Sunday is our bridal shower. I am so excited for that.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
