Just my two cents -- I have been in the situation where I was the made of honor and another friends was the Matron of honor--normally wouldn't care but I don't get along/respect this ygirl and so it was hard....but I sucked it up cause it was my friend's wedding -- but if the two don't get along I wouldn't recommend it.

I say go for it. There is no reason they can't both be. It is your day, do what you want!!!

                  I HAVE 2 CO-MAIDS OF HONOUR!
And they love it! That way not all the responsibility goes on one person!

You can ABSOLUTELY have both! My mom actually suggested I do that. It's your day, so make sure you have what you want.

You absolutely CAN have both. Lots of people do. And not to sound like a broken record, but at YOUR wedding, YOU set the rules!
