Anyone use Hawaiiwedding.com Inc?

Just curious if anyone has used this company for wedding coordination services. I was not able to find any reviews online. They are able to offer wedding ceremonies right on the beach apparently and many of the resorts I looked into do not offer that, so I would like to go with a WC.

They want a 50% deposit at the time of booking. I am not sure if this is typical. However they ONLY coordinate the ceremony, and they have different packages for that, and then they put you in touch with the restaurant/chef for the reception to work out menus/planning.

A ceremony package which includes a beach ceremony at the Four Seasons Resort (apparently in a fairly secluded area), setup, a spa day at the Four Seasons for the bride is about $2,000. So 50% would be $1,000.

When I looked into booking wedding packages through resorts it was thousands more than that...so just a little uneasy!

THanks!

Aloha,

I am a wedding photographer on the Big Island. There are so many public beaches you can get married on, including the Four Seasons. Every resort has to have public access to the beaches by law. There are some great wedding coordinators on the island, personal one on one that can tell locations, etc. Depending on how large your wedding is, a lot of it can even be done by yourself. A 50% deposit is fairly common. I know for my photography services I have a 30% deposit.

Best,

Bob

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
