I don't think anyone knows much about me but here are a couple of things:

Every single day I rehabilitate/teach children with Autism and special needs.

I'm Vegan, strictly Vegan (which by the way is a challenge in regards to mexico and wedding cakes!)

I went to UCLA (go Bruins!) and right after I graduated I moved to Vegas and worked as a cocktail waitress in (at the time) the #1 club in the country. which was interesting to say the least!

Hey, this is fun. Well, there's a lot that you guys don't know about me since I don't post that much. I'm here though, all the time.

Let's see......

I love to sing. I've had lots of voice training when I was younger, but that was the past, and I won't sing for anybody now.

I am trying so hard to get in this nursing program at my school,by the spring semester of 09.

My job is going electronic in the summer, hopefully I won't get laid off.

I have two degrees from the University of Texas at Austin. While I was getting them I was an exotic dancer. Now I'm a legal assistant at an oil company! BTW..FI knows I was a "dancer". I've had two drinks or else I probably would have never posted this!! : )

I know I haven't been on here long, so you know almost nothing about me...but I've had such fun reading everyone's posts that I thought I'd share some things about me.

  1. I'm a Navy brat. I grew up all over, but spent most of my childhood in Hawaii. We lived there from '75 to '84 while my pop was a submarine commander. My pop was fairly high ranking officer. When he retired they had a change of command ceremony and it made the newspaper.

  2. I'm a jewelry historian and restoration specialist. I am also working on my Graduate Gemology degree from GIA. I'll soon have the the letters G.G. after my name. (When I graduate). I'm so excited.

  3. FI and I are what many of you would consider a "Goth". Yes, I am one of those black clad weirdoes, even at 35. I have been since I was a teenager. I'm not really fond of the label because the press seems to call any nut job in black one. I'm sorry, but Marilyn Manson, Evanescence, etc. are not Goth. It's a sub-culture based on a style of music and nothing more. Here is a pic of me in Leipzig Germany at a Gothic Music Festival with some members of a Seattle band called Glis. I'm the one with the purple dreadlocks.

Not sure anyone knows anything about me so:-

1. I'm a lawyer in the UK who can't grow up and finds ways to go to Court with skull and cross bow headbands (true!! ha ha)

2. I've got a really bad sense of humour and have been told on more than one occasion that I'm sarky! lol

3. I'm way to soft with dogs and kids and way too hard with everyone else

4. Oh and FI says i'm too firey lol

I went through a period when I would be so mad at Aiden and said a lot of not so nice things to him. It's really tough when you are so physically and mentally exhausted and this little baby won't stop crying no matter what you do. I've a lot of days feelings like I wasgoing crazy. It's especially hard when you're home all alone. It's very stressful. I think every new mom has been there and everyone knows you didn't mean it. You do have a wonderful son and you are a wonderful mother and I'm sure your daughter is is somewhere out there looking over all of you.
Im sorry I just decided to back track. Yes it was SIDS. Ayanna was her name it means Pure flower and she would cry when her father left the room or went to work. She would not sleep and was only happy when she nursed. I was dehydrated and he came home early from work and she nipped my breast and grinned (atleast what looked like a grin from a dehydrated tried stinky person). lawrence took her laid her down and that was the last time I saw my baby girl alive

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
