Hair and Makeup

Trying to figure out the hair and makeup situation-help me by taking this poll.

I'm getting both my hair and makeup done. I suck at styling my hair, so it's always pretty much the same. My makeup, well I can do on my own but I figured I want to make sure it's applied right for the pictures. (I still my decide to do it myself if I have a trial done before I leave)

The bridal party is getting our hair done. I am going for a make up trial before I leave and have a friend who has taken make up aplication coarses, so she said she would do my makeup for me. My BM are doing their own makeup

I'm getting hair and makeup done.. but just some of the girls in my bridal party are getting her hair done.. some are doing it by themselves..

I am going to get my hair and makeup done. Since I can't do a trial till I get down there, I also took a course on how to do my own makeup, just in case. And, both my BM's are hair dressers, lol, so I will get one of them to do my hair if the hair stylist there is not so great. I will get her to do it first though, cause I want my BM's to be able to relax that day and, its included in my wedding package.

I'm lucky because my friend is my hairdresser so she will be at the wedding and doing my hair and makeup. I don't know what to do about my BM's hair and make up though. I don't want to ask my friend to do everyone (i have 6 girls in the bridal party) but at the same time I would like to take care of my girls. Are we expected to pay for the BMs hair and makeup anyway

I had my hair done and so did my bridal party...none of them wanted to do it themselves. Can't say I blame them! Although since my wedding was "at home" and all my BM's live in the area, they just went to their own stylists that they already knew...so that was extra simple for me. I think if I had BM's from out of town, I would have helped by making reccomendations/appointments if needed.

 

My MOH and I went on a shopping spree at Sephora a couple months before the wedding. She did my makeup. This worked great for us because I could do as many practice sessions as I wanted (which ended up being about 4) and we changed it up a little each time until we really liked it. It was a little funny, 'cause we would take pictures each time we did it. Partly to remember exactly what we did and partly to see how well it photographed. It was kinda' like the movie Clueless!! lol!

 

All the BM's sort of did their own/helped each other with makeup. We all got ready together so there was lots of sharing and stuff.

that's what I was thinking-do I have to pay for it. I have 6 also
