rsvp necessary for destination wedding? Or used WeddingPaperDivas?

Recommended Posts

Hi there,

Just wondering whether it is necessary to send out rsvp with the invitation even though we need everyone to contact the travel agent to pay their deposits and hold their place? I'm concerned if we send out the RSVP, it will be redundant, and if we don't, I worry people will think I've forgotten to attach it.

I want to order my invite, and an "information" page with the travel agent's contact info. and pricing, so just the two pages in the envelope?

Does that make sense?

Also, I tried looking through the threads, but wasn't able to find anything related... but has anyone used weddingpaperdivas.com, for their invites? They seem to be a reasonable option....

Any help is appreciated!

I used wedding paper divas for my STDs and loved them. Their service was great and the price right.

Not sure about the response cards, if you already have a number of people booked by the time you're ready to send - probably not necessary. If your guests need another 'reminder' to book, then might be a nudge... (although at a cost!)

We are sending out RSVP cards since it will help us to know all who are planning on coming we invited around 80 people some we do not see often so this is kind of a push for them to let us know. We want to leave enough time to make sure we made enough bags etc.

This is the exact reason why we are also sending response cards with our invites. We have had several people book on their own and we want to make sure we have the head count correct for everything.

I used paper divas for my STDs and will be using them for my invitiations as well. I love their designs, the quality is nice and the price is right. Good luck!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
