My husband and i were marrried Nov. 17, 2008. We are renewing our vows next year Aug. 16, 2013 to celebrate 5 years. We are having our renewal in Cancun were we went for our honeymoon. :D Cancun also has lots of activities for our family and friends to enjoy.

My husband and I will be married 10 years this January 2013.  We didn't have a wedding 10 years ago as we got married very young and just didn't have the funds.  We are headed to Dreams Palm Beach in Punta Cana to have have a vow renewal ceremony and reception.  We have about 30 people going and are getting so excited.  I didn't realize since I hadn't done it before how much actully goes in to planning one of these!  Wish me luck!

We are having it at the Beach Palace Resort in Cancun. We are using the complimentary packageand keeping things simple and put our money into our welcome dinner and cocktail hour. We are having guests, we invited 35 but not sure who all will come right now.

Is there any difference between wedding symbolic ceremony and vow reneval ceremony?
The difference is in the packages so It depends on the resort. Some resorts offer a vow renewal package which is cheaper than other wedding packages but also offers less. A symbolic ceremony is used by couples that are either legally married in the states before they come or will legally marry when the return stateside. The resort we are using doesn't offer a vow renewal package so we are doing a symbolic.

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
