We are heading down to Riviera Maya next weekend for some site visits. We are taking one day to visit four resorts from Riviera Maya to north of Cancun.

Has anyone used a limo/shuttle company for a day of transportation needs?

We would like to book a car that will take us from appointment to appointment from about 10:00 A.M. to 7:00 P.M.

I have never even been to Cancun so I don't know where to start! sad.gif

We don't want to rent a car because we have heard some scary stories about that so we would prefer to have a driver.

Thank you for any information! :)

We just rented a car and found it really useful to have one! If you are going outside the hotel zone in Cancun (which you are) you may find it cheaper and easier to rent a car versus using a shuttle (just a thought). We rented ours Riviera Maya- for the most part everything was really straightforward and easy to find! Have fun on your site visits- we had such a blast!!

I have a GREAT company for you. My mom and I went down to CAncun a month back and used Lomas Travel. We emailed them told them the 10 hotels we wanted to tour, they took the list, and set up the meetings with the WC's! They picked us up at our hotel on Friday morning at 9 am with our itenrary and proceeded to dirve us from hotel to hotel, we had a driver and a tour guide, they did this for two days, it was 100$ per day, TOTALLY worth it considering they set up the meetings for us so we didn't have to try and do that ourselves we just sat in the car while they took us from place to place, we would wait in the lobby and they woudl go get the WC... Here is Jiddu's email, he is the guy who set it up, our tour guide was Victor, request him, super nice, speaks amazing english. we also had a driver, can't remember his name but they were both great.Jiddu K. Thanks for posting this!  We also wanted to visit some other resorts on our trip, but I was very nervous about the cost of transportation.  Great info!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
