    we put "kick off your shoues and join us" on the invites, and if that did not work hopefuly the no last names will give it away how informal it is!

          Thanks a lot for this info and to everyone that suggested putting it in the pre-travel brochure. One more thing that is going in there :) Such a great idea, because I really don't want people wearing shorts (is that mean of me, even though its going to be hot??)

          Oo love the wording "Beach Chic" very nice

          I think we just used word of mouth and told everyone to be comfortable good thing too because it was 109 degrees out. My poor guests were sweating puddles.

                Thanks ladies... this is helpful. I'm fine with our guests wearing whatever they want... but the restaurant we're having dinner in at the resort does have a dress code, so I was trying to figure out how to handle this. Great ideas here!

                  We used "sand between the toes elegant" ... I have no idea what that means, but it sounded kinda cool :)
