February 09 Brides

Recommended Posts

Wow, I can't believe how close we all are. It went SO fast.

Things I finished recently:

Ordered FI wedding band

Made my 'something blue' earrings (actually I made 3 pairs, now I just have to choose)

Mailed paperwork to Jamaica

Things I'm working on this weekend:

Pay off trip balance

2nd dress fitting (muslin version)

Find FI new swim trunks and ceremony pants

I am getting soooo nervious! We have our rings, a pastor, all of the paperwork done, my OOT bags done and now I am just waiting to do my dress fitting (but my seamstress said it would only take 2 weeks to fit perfect)

Can you believe it is finally herehuh.gif? Five weeks from today I will be legally married and then five weeks from tomorrow spiritually married. I am so excited I can not wait. I am a little nervious about the entire reception and how that is going to go down but besides that I can not wait!!@!!!!!

I cannot believe how fast time is flying by!!! AND, I am getting really excited!

I had my first fitting yesterday and all went well - looks like mainly hemming! My veil should be ready by Friday (my mom is making it)... we are buying the groomsmen's pants and shoes today... we picked up our wedding bands last weekend.

I just have the "crafty" to dos left (I think!!)...

- luggage tags

- PV info booklet

- OOT tumbler inserts

- finalize ceremony

- schedule of events

- make playlists for iPod

I really cannot believe it!! I am a little nervous about the reception and the ceremony and the flow of events but figure no matter what happens, it will be absolutely the best day of my life!!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
