yikes! Today it sort of sunk in that we are less than four months to the big day and I have sooooo much yet to do!! Was out shopping for a christmas party dress today and realized I still don't have any shoes for the wedding!! I think I will spend tomorrow making lists - I feel really unorganized right now!

108 days to the big day!

Jenn-I am right there with you.* I spent the entire day today searching for a very creative theme for my luggage tags and all the other goodies that I want to put in my welcome bags.* My problem is, I live in a small town that does not have anything but a wal-mart.* Thats right no Michaels, Craft Stores nothing.* So after strolling down every aisle in the famous wal-mart I left with nothing and started once again looking on line to find something that isn't as creative as I wanted to be but will work.* I am working on it right now and I will upload a picture after they are done.* I just feel like there is so much to do, so little I know about this entire process and so many questions that others need answered.* A list would probably be a very good thing to do tomorrow as well.

I always feel better after making lists!! Of course, when I see how big it is, it can be a little disheartening, but it feels good to at least get everything down on paper.

If you search on here, Becks posted a great to-do list in excel that you can use to check off stuff you've done and keep you on track, time wise.

Thanks for the tip on the message in a bottle website Jennifer! I ordered my supplies this weekend and can't wait to get them! We are purchasing additional on board credit for our cruise guests. I'm going to make up a certificate explaining the additional credit and put them in the bottles. I also loved your idea about the coconut oil! So fun!

We finished the first batch of our DIY luggage tags this weekend. I'm so excited to see things starting to come together!

Glad we could help! We loved how they turned out. I brought in the invites to work to hand out and the whole office smelled of coconut and everyone loved it. Your guests will be thrilled. It is nice to see it all coming together we have 1/2 of our luggage tags done I am waiting to order more holders based on our RSVPs and I have started our welcome book. I bought photo albums at walmart for $1 and now we are printing info about the resort, mexico and attractions etc and putting them in the photoalbum. smile35.gif I need to dig up my list for what else we can work on. The big things I need to buy is my shoes and earrings since I have my dress fitting on dec 10th I want to bring some options to see what I like.

Wow, our thread has been a little dead for a while now. *paraisobeachbride2009 busts out her defibulator to revive it*

CLEAR! hehe :)

Hmmm sooooo, here's where I'm at:

Things done

- Dress bought and paid for in full

- Bouquet chosen..finally

- Shoes bought and paid for

- Jewelry bought and paid for

- Witnesses chosen and information sent to wc

- Photographer booked & deposit paid

Things that still need to be done

- First fitting (Dec 18 )

- Apply for long-form birth certificates

- Confirm necessary legal paperwork to be submitted

- Finish paying for trip

- BD pics (? still considering this, I think it would be fun)

- Lose at least another 10 lbs lol

- Tanning (starting in January)

- Get FI's wedding band

- Help my little sister find a nice and figure flattering dress for the ceremony

Hmm, I'm sure there's more than that but I can't think on my empty tummy!

This thread has been pretty quiet!

We are taking FI's suit to be altered this weekend. Still need to find him shoes. Are your men wearing sandals or dress shoes? I picked out a wedding band this weekend and I'm so excited about it! I didn't think we would find one that went well with my ering. I get to pick it up tonight! Yay!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
