I have a couple different copies of the sand ceremony and all of them mention that you have just exchanged rings and kissed. Is the sand ceremony done at the end? Did the minister say anything after that or how do you know when to walk down the aisle? It seems like such a hard stop to the ceremony. I'm also working on my programs so I want to make sure I have the ceremony in the right order and am trying to figure out the appropriate place to add the sand ceremony since it is not in there currently.

We did our sand ceremony after the kiss. I hadn't really planned when to do it, so we sort of just went with what our minister did. It did feel a little weird, and I wish it had been in the middle of the ceremony somewhere, but it was still very special and our guests thought it was a nice touch.
