Who Pays for Bachelorette Party?

Recommended Posts

For my bachelorette we are going to Hollywood in a limo and have dinner, drinks and more drinks. I am super excited.

I told my BM's that I felt bad they were shelling out more money, but they all said no worries.

It is going to be a lot of fun.

I think my MOH and my sister who is a BM are doing my bachlorette party, although if we go to the bar, my sis isn't old enough yet, so she will have to stay behind for that part. They are picking up the bill for that and my Mom will probably help them out too.

I didn't want my friends spending $$ either on my bachelorette party and they took it upon themselves and did anyways. One set of friends (from work) took me for a spa day and the other two sets took me to Vegas. I had a BLAST and they refused to let me pay for anything. I felt horrible because everything was so expensive, but they really wanted to do it for me.

So, like the other girls said, your friends are really excited about this night and if they want to pay for everything, let them. I'm sure they know you will be doing the same for them when they have their bachelorette parties!

Ours is a little different because some of the girls coming out to Vegas are not coming to the wedding in Jamaica and only 2 out of the 4 BMs can make it to Vegas for the Bach party. We got really lucky because last year we were staying at the Monte Carlo when it caught fire, so they gave us 4 free nights. We are using that for our hotel stay so the hotel is free. Other than that, all the girls have to pay for are the flights and any Vegas entertainment. We also have really good friends out in Vegas so they are getting us free Chippendales tickets and the bouncers at the clubs that they know will let us in. I think I'm going to give my SIL and FI sister some money to send to my MOH (the 2 sisters are not going to be able to make it to Vegas) so that she (MOH) thinks that its a contribution from the sisters when it is actually from me ;-)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
